This was a solid piece of plywood that room boxes are made of.
I wanted a wood floor that didn't look like plywood.
I made it look like a wood floor by painting with an antique copper color, after it dried
I used a metal ruler and a metal dental pick to score my lines.
Lightly sanded in between some of the lines to give definition.
I then added the white wax and immediately whipped it off leaving it in the lines.
I added the antiquing glaze as my final coat. Very simple and looks great.
Make sure to score with the grain.
